Video Marketing - Reach New Prospects, Build Your List, and Generate Massive Traffic With Videos

You can build your list and get more traffic to your sites by using video. I was not an early adopter of this technique, but once I saw how fast and easy it was I began to get on board.

The ideas I want to share with you include how to use video to get your message out to the world, the different ways you can produce your videos, and how to repurpose them for even greater profit, visibility, and targeted traffic.

The mistake I made was in not considering still photos to be a viable resource for video creation. I had lots of pictures that were just sitting on my hard drive. I connected them to my Flickr and PhotoBucket account so that I could create slide shows.

Then I was able to use sites such an Animoto to create videos very easily. This enabled me to get my message out to the world. Even if you are not a creative type, take some time to explore these free sites and you may be amazed at what you can come up with.

When you hear the phrase produce your videos, you may begin to feel like this means that you will need to be an amateur film maker in order to create videos for others to see on the Internet. I thought that at first as well, but it turns out that producing your video just means that you are choosing how it will be formatted.

You can use a program like Camtasia, or some similar ones that are free, in order to do this successfully. It took me a couple of weeks to learn the technical part, but now I can record a short video - five minutes or less in length - and produce it in about fifteen minutes.

Another way to repurpose all of your content with pictures and video is to create PowerPoint presentations and turn them into video. Write a short outline, make a slide with three or four bullet points for each idea, and then discuss the slides as you record the video.

The result will be a recorded presentation on your topic that will get you message across clearly and succinctly to your prospects.

Spend some time learning what you can about video presentations, and then jump right in with your ideas. You can always delete what doesn't work for you, but more than likely you will want to keep it when you see how well it works for list building, traffic generation, and added profits for your online business.
