The facial scrubs are used regularly as effective face blackhead cleaners. There is a procedure to be followed to use these scrubs in an effective manner to keep the face clean and neat. One has to first clean the face with soap and water and the then give a little steam bath for the face. Nail files are the tools which are used to shape the nails. These are used in doing manicure and pedicure to give good shape to the nails so that they look better and neat. The different types of nail files are Emery boards, plain metal files, crystal files or can be made of glass. These nail files are used to do pedicure which is effective procedure to shape the toe nails. This procedure can either be performed at a saloon or at home with the help of a friend. Pedicure is done using many tools such as Nail pusher, Nail cutter, Cuticle nipper and cutter.

In this article let us know briefly regarding the various tools used for pedicure. Starting with:

Nail filer: Nail filer is tool which is used to shape the edges of the nails and give it a finishing effect. Nail filer is normally used after the nail clipping is done. Pedicure is never complete without doing a nail filing and providing a finishing touch to the nails.

Nail pusher: There are many times when the nails cannot be cut but has to be shortened to give it a clean effect. In these cases a tool called the Nail pusher is used to push the nails back so that it does look attractive. Using this tool the nail can be pushed only by a minute length.

Nail Cutter: This pedicure tool which is used to cut the nails if the length of the nails have increased. This tool is also used to shape the nails according to the pedicure being done.

Cuticle nipper: Cuticle nippers are not regular tools which are used in manicure and pedicure. But this tool makes it easy to manipulate and shape cuticles effectively when compared to nail cutters. This tool is similar to small cutters and have cutting edge at the end. This tool is used in the presence of dead skin which is thicker and is difficult to reach using normal nail cutters.

Cuticle cutter: This tool is very essential during manicure as pushing the cuticle is necessary to make the nails look groomed. Cuticle cutters are essential tools to remove dead skin and hang nails. These are sharp instruments which can be used to cut dead skin smoothly.
